IN EEN LAND HIER, DICHTBIJ ONS

When Anne Roos was a child she always got told a story before she went to sleep. Her dad thought of them himself. These were moments of pure security for her and it almost felt like she was in some kind of magical world with her dad and her sister, a world that no one knew of except for the three of them. Now that she’s older and living by herself Anne Roos misses these moments. With this installation called ‘In een land hier, dichtbij ons’ / ‘In a land close, close to us’ she creates the same world to regenerate this feeling of safety and love, so she can softly fall asleep while listening to her fathers’ voice.
