Hi, I'm Roozeboos! Or Anne Roos Kleiss as you might know me in daily life. I try to look at the world with a childlike curiosity. Something that is reflected in my artist name, which was my nickname as a kid. My work is playful, filled with color and tells stories even through its smallest details. I love to capture what I see around me in my sketchbook and this brings me inspiration from unexpected places. Diversity, nature, traveling, emotions and community are themes that can often be found in my drawings.

I mostly work on books, children's theatre, editorial illustrations, spatial designs, workshops or commercial projects, and I love live drawing at events.

​In 2017 I graduated from a Bachelor in Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and in February 2020 I finished an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. I have an atelier in the Keilewerf in Rotterdam, a wonderful place with lots of different artists.​
