Roozeboos, or Anne Roos Kleiss as you might know her in daily life, tries to look at the world with a childlike curiosity. Something that is reflected in her artist name, which was her nickname as a kid. Her work is playful, filled with color and tells stories even through its smallest details. She loves to capture what she sees around her in her sketchbook and this brings her inspiration from unexpected places. Diversity, nature, emotions, community and 'kleingeluk' (literally translated to 'small happines') are themes that can often be found in her drawings.

In 2017 she graduated from a Bachelor in Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and in February 2020 she finished an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.

Publishers she has worked with include: Scholastic, Volt, Pelckmans,

Blossom Books, Child's Play, Loopvis, Tekman, Linking Publishing,

De 4 Windstreken

Other clients include: Every Child a Reader, Highlight Children's Magazine, Rotterdampas, Villa Zebra, Der Passagier Magazine, Pearle, SKVR and Oerol Festival

Roozeboos mostly works on children's books, editorial illustrations and advertisement projects, but she is also open to think together about any other idea you might have!
